Scorpio: The island of Onassis
Near Nydri is one of the most famous islands - not only in Greece but in the whole world. The summer shelter of the naval tycoon Aristotle Onassis. He bought the island in 1963 and decorated it with various trees and exotic plants. Liz Taylor, Richard Burton, Winston Churchill, Kings, Dukes, Industrialists and of course Jackie O - all took part in the famous Scorpio and Yacht Christina parties. He is buried here in 1975.
Demosari Waterfalls
